On my journey, I met local cultural actors who awakened in me a desire to capture these moments of sharing. This gave rise to the idea of a video essay, aimed at transcribing the local lifestyle.

This dissertation, travelogue of sorts, highlights cultural resistance to globalisation and explores the meeting of ancient traditions and modernity. Oaxaca, as an exotic example, is the root, the anchor point of a reflection around cultural hybridisation.
