Dans les centres de soins palliatifs, une grande majorit\u00e9 des r\u00e9sidents se retrouvent alit\u00e9s et par cons\u00e9quent immobiles ; l\u2019action banale de d\u00e9ambuler leur est souvent inaccessible.\u00a0Le pari de ce projet est de proposer d\u2019int\u00e9grer le mouvement dans la vie des r\u00e9sidents, afin d\u2019offrir une alternative \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat qu’\u00e9voque la fin de vie.\nLe lit m\u00e9dicalis\u00e9 est habill\u00e9 d\u2019une structure en bois chaleureuse. Tel un navire, il a vocation\u00a0\u00e0 parcourir l\u2019enti\u00e8ret\u00e9 du centre et de son jardin am\u00e9nag\u00e9.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n

L’ENTREE<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Lors de son arriv\u00e9e, le futur r\u00e9sident est re\u00e7u par le personnel au travers d\u2019un parcours inhabituel. En effet, il n\u2019y a pas de borne d\u2019accueil, l\u2019entr\u00e9e joue avec les limites entre l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 son plafond vitr\u00e9, cr\u00e9ant une sensation d\u2019ouverture et d\u2019espace infini. Les rep\u00e8res r\u00e9confortants du quotidien permettent de se sentir accueilli ; les fen\u00eatres asym\u00e9triques et les grands murs de pierre rappellent l\u2019aspect familier d\u2019un village, ajoutant une touche de chaleur et d\u2019authenticit\u00e9. Chaque d\u00e9tail est con\u00e7u pour \u00e9viter la sensation d\u2019enfermement, transformant cet espace en un sas de transition vers le jardin d\u2019hiver, o\u00f9 l\u2019exploration et la d\u00e9couverte se poursuivent.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

Dans le jardin d\u2019hiver, les limites entre l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur restent subtiles, cr\u00e9ant une atmosph\u00e8re propice \u00e0 la d\u00e9tente. On peut y patienter en toute tranquillit\u00e9 pendant que les accompagnateurs r\u00e8glent les d\u00e9tails administratifs dans le bureau adjacent.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

Le syst\u00e8me de trame au plafond est ing\u00e9nieusement con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9duire l\u2019impact du soleil, tandis que les fen\u00eatres s\u2019ouvrent pour faire circuler l\u2019air, maintenant une temp\u00e9rature id\u00e9ale.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n

De l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la chambre jusqu\u2019au jardin, il n\u2019y a qu\u2019un pas.\u00a0La lumi\u00e8re traverse la pi\u00e8ce gr\u00e2ce aux larges baies vitr\u00e9es. Le lit au centre, libre de tous ses mouvements, invite \u00e0 la promenade. L\u2019\u00e9vocation du jardin d\u2019hiver par la trame de bois r\u00e9conforte les r\u00e9sidents par son aspect familier.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n

LE CABINET DE CURIOSITES<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Cet espace constitue la particularit\u00e9 essentielle de ce centre : la possibilit\u00e9 pour les r\u00e9sidents d\u2019\u00eatre accompagn\u00e9s pour y laisser un h\u00e9ritage sonore.\nLe son, support d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9, permet d\u2019accumuler la m\u00e9moire des nombreux r\u00e9sidents sans aucune limite. C\u2019est aussi un moyen de garder des souvenirs authentiques et pr\u00e9cieux que le temps ne tarira pas. La voix reste \u00e9ternellement vivante \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence des images et des objets.\nLe centre de soins palliatifs met \u00e0 disposition pour ses patients des personnes form\u00e9es ; celles-ci les aident \u00e0 converser et \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir afin de cr\u00e9er leur h\u00e9ritage immat\u00e9riel pour l\u2019\u00ab apr\u00e8s \u00bb. De par son ouverture vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et sa large hauteur de plafond, le cabinet des curiosit\u00e9s appelle \u00e0 la confidence. Dans ce lieu sont dispos\u00e9es des \u00e9tag\u00e8res remplies d\u2019objets divers qui peuvent stimuler et raviver la m\u00e9moire.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

Le kiosque est le sanctuaire qui permet \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire d\u2019\u00eatre partag\u00e9e. En effet, une fois la conversation enregistr\u00e9e dans le cabinet de curiosit\u00e9, celle-ci est mise en forme et transmise par le biais d\u2019une application aux quatre kiosques du lieu : deux dans le jardin, accessibles aux r\u00e9sidents et deux sur le chemin de promenade, accessibles aux proches et aux passants.\nCet \u00e9crin secret et discret reste \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir : sur la structure se trouve un QR code qui am\u00e8ne \u00e0 une application permettant de choisir un des h\u00e9ritages pr\u00e9-enregistr\u00e9s ; pour l\u2019entendre, il faut s\u2019asseoir sur le banc o\u00f9 les hauts parleurs directifs attendent le visiteur pour lui confier une m\u00e9moire.\nLe sanctuaire \u00e9voque l\u2019immat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 de la personne partie. Sa structure en bois fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence du disparu, comme un cocon recouvrant l\u2019auditeur sans n\u00e9cessairement le prot\u00e9ger de l\u2019environnement.\nA l\u2019image d\u2019une boite \u00e0 souvenir, cette structure a pour vocation d\u2019\u00eatre attaqu\u00e9e par le temps, prot\u00e9geant le tr\u00e9sor qu\u2019il renferme et qui, lui, reste intemporel. Cet endroit invite \u00e0 la contemplation du lac, il permet de rattacher la voix \u00e0 un beau paysage.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":43176,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_metafield_presentation":"In recent years, the topic of end-of-life and palliative care has returned to the forefront. In this context, I look at creating a place dedicated to supporting the final moments of people at the end of their lives, while considering the future through a memorial approach. As such, this place would not only provide palliative care, but would also be designed as a space where individuals could contemplate and prepare for \u201cafterwards\u201d by leaving their memory through their voice.
