Collection de brosses en fibre de lin et c\u00e9ramique

Le lin est un mat\u00e9riau d\u2019origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale qui a de nombreuses qualit\u00e9s (r\u00e9sistance aux vibrations, hypoallerg\u00e9nique…) d\u00e9j\u00e0 mises \u00e0 profit dans plusieurs domaines (alimentation, mode, ameublement, b\u00e2timent, a\u00e9ronautique, peinture…).

La France produit 80 % du volume mondial de lin, en Normandie et dans les Hauts-de-France. Car le taux d’humidit\u00e9 y est naturellement adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture du lin d\u00e9j\u00e0 peu consommatrice d’eau.


Le lin est une plante qui produit z\u00e9ro d\u00e9chets car c\u2019est un mat\u00e9riau dont tous les composants sont revaloris\u00e9s (textile, huile, coque en b<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Ces brosses sont issues d\u2019une recherche par la manipulation du lin, un mat\u00e9riau \u00e9cologique et symboliquement reconnu comme pure et sensible.

Les manches en c\u00e9ramique sont facett\u00e9s avec la technique japonaise Shinogi valorisant l\u2019imperfection du mat\u00e9riau et du geste. La fragilit\u00e9 de la terre cuite force \u00e0 prendre le temps de pr\u00e9ciser le geste et stimule le soin apport\u00e9 aux objets qui nous entourent.

I therefore chose flax (or linen) fibre as the raw material for my research. It is also produced in France, which produces 80% of the world\u2019s volume. This gave me easy access to it and allowed me to handle it in multiple ways.
