SHERMAN fais r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au plus grand arbre \u00e0 un seul tronc au monde, le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Sherman situ\u00e9 dans la Giant Forest du parc national de Sequoia, en Californie, dans le Sud-Ouest des \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

La cime de cet arbre accueil un barfestif, un restaurant double hauteur, une serre bioclimatique et un parcours floral comestible : On mange ce que l\u2019on voit. Les fonctions du lobby sont d\u00e9plac\u00e9s du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e vers le toit afin d’appr\u00e9cier directement ce que l’h\u00f4tel \u00e0 de mieux \u00e0 offrir : La vue, la vie et la lumi\u00e8re. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

L’accueil du lobby se fait directement en sortant de l’ascenseur principal, dans un espace ouvert sur la vue et rafraichi naturellement par de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation poussant sur une double peau en caillebotis m\u00e9tallique sous lequel se trouve des parois vitr\u00e9es s’ouvrant et se refermant afin d’obtenir une a\u00e9ration et un contr\u00f4le sur la temp\u00e9rature optimal.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

La serre bioclimatique, orient\u00e9e pour avoir un apport de lumi\u00e8re maximal se compose de 3 murs en pis\u00e9 qui emmagasinent de la chaleur la journ\u00e9e pour la restituer la nuit. Cela permet de ne pas chauffer la nuit et dans les p\u00e9riodes plus fraiches. Son architecture permet aussi de cr\u00e9er un espace au calme sous des arcades structurantes surs lesquelles sont dispos\u00e9es des panneaux photovolta\u00efques.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

Le bar reprend les codes du phalanst\u00e8re en proposant une grande tabl\u00e9e centrale propice aux rencontres. Le lieu est le plus ouvert possible pour laisser un maximum de lumi\u00e8re rentrer. L’escalier centrale sculptural h\u00e9lico\u00efdal permet de descendre directement\u00a0 au restaurant qui est en dessous de la mezzanine et propose un environnement plus tamis\u00e9, comme si l’on rentrait un peu plus dans le tronc de cet arbre.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n

PLAN DE LA CIME<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n","protected":false},"author":80,"featured_media":46628,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_metafield_presentation":"\u201cSHERMAN\u201d reinvents the Sofitel hotels by creating a spectacular lobby on the top floor, offering a stay with less than 2 tonnes of carbon emissions, evoking the performance of a tree.
The lobby sits on the roof and is designed as a multitude of branches, each with its own function: a bar, a celebratory restaurant, a bioclimatic greenhouse, and an edible flower path with beehives. It also supplies the restaurant with food.

The ground floor becomes the understory, housing more private spaces and a reserve of recovered water, filtered in a pool under a large glass roof.

To increase self-sufficiency, a network of earth-to-air heat exchangers and geothermal energy serves as the roots.
