Our first impression of Cap Sici\u00e9 in La Seyne-sur-Mer is one of escape and peace. Weeks of water fasting are organised in parallel with periods of migration, drawing inspiration from the more frugal lifestyle of birds. The programme and architecture reproduce the feeling of freedom, encourage reflection on social conventions and challenge the notion of needs. The ruins of the semaphore remain unchanged and a light architecture is grafted onto them like a nest.
